If we are renting a space, how early can we arrive to set up?
Groups may arrive 30 minutes before the event start time. Need more time? Just

conferences, retreats, reunions, and even film or photo shoots. Whether you’re
planning a casual gathering or a formal event, we’ve got the space (and scenery) for it!

How far is Camp Bernie from major cities?
We’re located on 247 acres in beautiful New Jersey countryside — just over an
hour from NYC and about 30 minutes from Pennsylvania, making it ideal for a
destination-style event without the long trip.
What types of indoor and outdoor spaces are available?
We offer a variety of lodges and cabins, group spaces, outdoor amphitheaters,
pavilions, open fields, forest trails, a serene pond, and scenic backdrops — all
perfect for both intimate and large-scale events.
Can I tour the space before booking?
Absolutely! We encourage prospective renters to schedule a guided site tour so
you can explore the grounds, check out different spaces, and plan your vision.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
We can host events for small groups of 20 all the way up to 200+ guests,
depending on your needs and selected spaces.
Is Camp Bernie available year-round?
Yes! We host events in every season. With both indoor and outdoor options, your
event is safe from unpredictable weather.
Can I host my wedding at Camp Bernie?
Yes! Camp Bernie offers a unique blend of rustic charm and natural beauty,
perfect for ceremonies, receptions, and full weekend celebrations. We provide space,
flexibility, and a one-of-a-kind setting.
Do you provide event planning or decorations?
While we do not provide planning services, our team is happy to offer guidance,
recommendations, and layout suggestions to help you make the most of our spaces.
Can we stay overnight?
Yes! On-site overnight accommodations are available for guests, including cozy
cabins and bunk-style lodging — ideal for weekend weddings, retreats, or family-style
gatherings.
Do you offer catering?
We offer in-house meal service for many group events, or you’re welcome to bring
in your own licensed caterer with approval. Talk to our team about your preferences!
Can we serve alcohol at our event?
Alcohol is permitted at private events with advance approval, and you’ll need to
meet our safety and insurance guidelines.
Can I rent Camp Bernie as a filming location?
Yes! With forests, open fields, rustic cabins, water features, and multiple scenic
backdrops, Camp Bernie is a fantastic location for film shoots, photo sessions, and
content creation.
Are there private or restricted-use areas for filming?
Yes — we’ll work with you to designate specific locations and ensure privacy for your
production, depending on your needs and camp schedule.
Is Camp Bernie available for conferences or staff retreats?
Definitely! We offer meeting spaces, Wi-Fi, breakout areas, and team-building
activities — all in a relaxing natural setting.
Can you help organize team-building programs?
Yes! Ask about our facilitated group programming like challenge courses, guided
hikes, and workshops that add value to any retreat.
What amenities are included with rentals?
Rentals can include access to tables, chairs, restrooms, and designated
indoor/outdoor spaces. Additional amenities may be available based on your event
type and group size. All cabins have central heating and Wifi. The Camp Store also
stocks items such as additional firewood, Camp Bernie apparel, s’mores supplies, travel
size toiletries, and snacks and refreshments.
What’s your policy on cleanup and event timing?
Set-up and cleanup times are included in your rental window. Our staff will
coordinate with you on timing, logistics, and site usage guidelines.
Is there parking available?
Yes! We offer on-site parking for guests and vendors
