Did you know that YMCA Camp Bernie has been serving children through our summer camp programs for over 60 years?
Parents feel good about sending their children to YMCA Camp Bernie, because we offer quality programming, experienced leadership, and a long-standing reputation for excellence.
The goal of our camp programs is to provide opportunities for well-rounded social, emotional, and physical development. Our camp activities emphasize socialization, character development, effective communication, goal setting, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Each year, hundreds of children enjoy the opportunity to expand their talents and interests, build self-confidence, and create lasting memories and friendships.
YMCA Camp Bernie gives scholarships for camp through our financial assistance program.
The need is greater than ever before. Working parents simply don’t have many options. They trust the Y to ensure the safety and well-being of their children during long summer days. This year, with your help, we hope to meet the growing need by offering even more camp scholarships.
