Counselors
June 12- August 19; $1800 - $1900
Responsibilities: Counselors are responsible for the care and safety of campers; carrying out the Overnight or Day camp programs; and providing positive role models for campers in accordance with our YMCA core values. Overnight camp counselors live with a co-counselor and 10-12 campers for 13 day sessions. Staff receives 2 evenings off (6pm-midnight) during the session, and Fri. evening – Sun. morning off between sessions. Day camp counselors work Monday through Friday, and oversee a group of 10-12 campers each week of camp.
Requirements: Counselors must be at least 18 years of age, have the ability to lead activities, be a group leader, and be flexible.
